Man Health
By Sam Cox
So why did I decide to call this article Man Health? Simply put, because most men don’t care that much about their health. This article is for the ones that do. If you don’t, you should. Don’t want to go getting prostate cancer now do you? Or have a heart attack?
Here are some very simple things that you can do as a man that you won’t be ashamed of and will greatly impact your heath, preventing heart attack and prostate problems by keeping your testosterone in balance:
-
Eat your nuts…cashews, almonds, pistachios, walnuts, macadamia nuts, filberts, pecans and pumpkin seeds all contain trace vital minerals that will assist your body in producing the right amount of testosterone as well as protect your heart and prostate.
-
Increase the intake of green vegetables. We keep telling you and hopefully one of us will get through. The second you start eating raw, organic green vegetables you greatly decrease your risk for heart disease ( the vitamin c), cancer (the vitamin A), and prostate problems (magnesium and zinc). You’ll immediately increase your endurance and respiratory function. The climate is changing; our culture knows we need ‘em.
-
Go outside. Vitamin D is the most underrated nutrient of our time. Don’t listen to the doctors who tell you that the sun is evil. Doctors don’t learn about health, they learn how to treat symptoms of disease. Vitamin D by itself can reduce your risk of cancer to almost nothing. The sun also imparts bits of health to you through your skin in the form of photons carrying minerals.
-
Go to sleep. AND sleep IS NOT a catabolic time for your body. I read a mainstream magazine the other day that said that. I cannot believe these lies that people are pumping into our culture sometimes. Anyways, while you sleep your body is producing anabolic hormones; testosterone and growth hormone are the ones we are most concerned with. These two hormones are mostly released at night to repair the damage from the day. Here’s a little test to see if you are making enough test while you sleep: do you wake up with wood?

Fill up on vegetables and fats for dinner and limit the carbs. Vegetables naturally contain sterols that do a very good job at limiting the amount of estrogen your body produces. Vegetables also contain a good bit of zinc and magnesium, vital ingredients for testosterone production. The fats are going to give your body what you need to produce test as well, cholesterol. Cholesterol is a necessary nutrient that your body uses very well. High cholesterol is not from eating cholesterol or saturated fat; it’s from eating denatured fats like in fast food, processed meats, heated oils. Udo’s Choice oils are my preference.
Eat your veggies, get your sleep and sunlight and grow your nut count…in your pantry…you know what I mean.
